How Trivorg works
Set up once — then it's a two-minute team ritual every Friday.
Step 1
Add to Slack
Install Trivorg with the button above. Whoever installs becomes the Quiz Master — the person who controls the schedule and settings. Everyone else just plays.
Step 2
Pick your channel
In the channel where your team should play, invite the bot with
/invite @Trivorg, then run /trivia setup.
Quizzes post there — and nowhere else.
Step 3
Set your Friday time
/trivia schedule 11:00 America/New_York picks the weekly slot and
/trivia schedule on starts it automatically — or the Quiz Master runs
/trivia start on any Friday.
Commands
/trivia setup— link the current channel as your team's quiz channel/trivia status— see when the next quiz runs/trivia schedule [HH:MM timezone | on | off]— view the weekly schedule; the Quiz Master sets the Friday time or toggles auto-start/trivia start— start this week's quiz now (Quiz Master, Fridays, once per week)/trivia leaderboard [on | off]— get the season leaderboard link; the Quiz Master shows or hides your org on the public boards
What Trivorg posts, and when
One game a week, in your chosen channel only — no DMs. On quiz day Trivorg posts a kickoff message, then 10 multiple-choice questions with answer buttons. Everyone answers during the same countdown, the correct answer is revealed to the whole channel at once, and final standings post at the end with a link to the season leaderboards. Outside the game, Trivorg only replies when you run a command.
